As of October 30, 2009, we held 57 issued U.S. patents and 364 issued foreign patents (which include granted European patent rights that have been validated in various EU member states). In addition, we have 91 pending U.S. patent applications and have filed 107 patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty, from which 538 national phase applications are currently pending in Europe, Australia, Japan, Canada, and other countries.
