World Markets 13th Annual Health Care Conference. The conference is being held
at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Dr. James E. Brown, Chief Executive
Officer, will be presenting at the conference on Tuesday, November 5th, 2002 at
11:30 a.m. EST. DURECT’s presentation will be webcast live for investors and
